County Fair Foods, Inc. was established in 1993 by Arlington businesswoman Debbie Mahanay, manufacturing cotton candy and salsa for the local retail market.  That year, during the construction of the Ballpark in Arlington, Debbie approached the owners of the Texas Rangers with County Fair’s delicious, one-of-a-kind, cotton candy.  Since the opening of the Ballpark in Arlington in 1994, County Fair’s cotton candy has maintained a best-selling presence there.

In 1996, County Fair began manufacturing private-label jams, jellies, sauces and salsas, helping small, homegrown companies bring their products to market and expand their businesses and adding new customers daily.  By 2000, County Fair began providing vending services for the Ballpark in Arlington and later at Texas Stadium in Irving.

Today, County Fair provides cotton candy to nearly every sports and entertainment venue in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area, as well as vending services to both the Texas Rangers Ballpark and the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium, all while maintaining the manufacturing of popcorn, kettle corn and  private-label jams, jellies, sauces, salsas, candies and confections.  County Fair is, has been, and continues to be, a family run business.
